In addition to providing our clients with the best legal services possible, our firm is committed to the Southwest Georgia community in which we live and work. Our attorneys have served on the boards of dozens of non-profit organizations, including United Way, the SOWEGA Council on Aging, the Darton College Foundation, The Parks at Chehaw, Leadership Albany, the Georgia Legal Services Program, and many others. In addition, members of our firm support and serve in leadership roles in numerous professional organizations, including the Dougherty Circuit Bar Association, the Georgia Bankers’ Association, the Association of Credit Executives, and others. You will also find our attorneys teaching Sunday School, coaching sports teams, delivering Meals on Wheels, and devoting volunteer hours to our community in too many ways to count.

Every year, our firm also participates in firm-wide charitable endeavors. In the spring, we support the Georgia Legal Food Frenzy by volunteering at a local food bank and collecting canned goods. In the fall, we support the One Warm Coat organization, collecting new and gently used coats in our office for distribution to those who do not have them.

In addition to volunteer hours, our firm provides financial assistance to many organizations. Some of the organizations that we regularly support through sponsorships and other financial contributions include Kids’ Chance of Georgia (an organization developed by the Workers’ Compensation Section of the State Bar of Georgia that awards college scholarships to children of catastrophically injured workers); Junior League of Albany (which spearheads numerous community initiatives, including school readiness and historic preservation); and the Albany Area YMCA (which among other things, provides afterschool and summer enrichment programs to elementary school children).

Over the years, our firm has contributed thousands of volunteer hours and thousands of dollars to our community. We take seriously our obligation to do our part to assist those in need and to improve the Southwest Georgia region in which we live. We are proud of our longstanding tradition of service to others, and as we enter our 40th year as a law firm, we are committed to continuing this tradition.
